Dear Families,
I wish you all a peaceful February break. I am looking forward to some quiet days at our cabin and time to work on projects at home later next week.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Thank you for all of your continued support, love, and kindness in our classroom each week. Katie and I could never do all that we do without your amazing support each and everyday!

with love and gratitude,

Colleen and Katie

We had a another exciting morning in room 10 for day #3 of our Post Office. The cost of stamps was 4 cents for kinders, 7 cents for first graders, and 50 cents for express mail. Our Post Office operation was very smooth and efficient. The children truly worked together as a team on this wonderful project!

We also celebrated Hazel’s 8th birthday this morning. Ron came at 9:30, so he could experience our amazing Post Office Project. Then we celebrated Hazel’s birthday. Hazel even sat in the rocking chair, which is the tradition in our classroom. On your birthday you get to sit in the rocking chair while the class sings you “Happy Birthday!” It was certainly a fun morning!
