We had a wonderful field trip to Webb Ranch this morning. Our tour began with 10 minutes of jumping in the jump house. Then we walked up to the big field where we learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. Farmer Ken did an amazing job teaching us all about pumpkins. After his talk each learner got to choose their favorite pumpkin to take home to carve for Halloween. Then we all enjoyed a delicious snack and listened to a non-fiction story about how pumpkins grow. Our field trip ended with a visit to the “non-scary” haunted house. Fun was certainly had by all! Enjoy the photos!
